I love the style of these! I have several, both Fender and Squier, with various pickup configurations.
Fender Custom Bitsa
Assembled from various parts bins, this Stratocaster has pickups wound by Abigail Ybarra, who was winding pickups for Fender in 1958!
Fender “Buddy Holly” Replica
Custom built Fender Stratocaster, replicating Buddy’s guitar as it was after his final gig. Painstaking attention to detail, a 50th birthday gift to me.
Fender “Rocky” Stratocaster
A Painted Player replica of George Harrison’s Strat, customised by George with dayglo paint and nail varnish.
Fender Jazz Bass
Lovely Cherry Red Jazz Bass.
Fender Kingman Acoustic Bass
This is a monster! Huge bodied electro acoustic bass. I saw one of these being used in Status Quo’s “Aquostic” set, had to buy one!
Fender Mex Deluxe Precision Special
Active version in Cherry Red, originally with a matt gold scratch plate, but I prefer the satin black one.
Fender Stratocaster ex Paul Rodgers
Previously owned by Paul Rodgers, Free, Bad Company etc, this is a road worn (genuinely) strat with pedigree.
Fender 50th Anniversary Strat and Tele
What a lovely pair! Beautiful versions of the Stratocaster and Telecaster with gold hardware. Both of these play so smoothly, but sadly, are no longer in my possession.
Fender Chrome Stratocaster
Well, not really all Fender, and not chrome, but you get the idea. Leftover aluminium Fender hollow body mated to a Warmouth AAA maple, compound radius, neck (lovely). Assembled byContinue readingFender Chrome Stratocaster
